One problem I have with the angel hybrid theory is that it does not align with Scripture.

After Abel’s death and Cain’s banishment, Eve bore another son, Seth, which in Hebrew means “substitute” or “one who takes the place of another.”
This is significant because the reason for Seth’s birth was to substitute for the loss of the firstborn who fell away, as well as the godly son Abel. The Messianic line had to be restored. God was determined to fulfill his prophecy.
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15
We see the same kind of scenario with Esau and Isaac in Genesis chapter 25 &26.
In the same way that Cain forfeited his inheritance, Esau forfeited his inheritance.
Satan devised another plan to sabotage the Messianic line.
In Genesis 4:26, we see that Seth’s line became devoted to God. They sought the Lord. They worshiped him.
And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord. Genesis 4:2
The theme of Genesis 6 is about preserving the Messianic line. It is not about hybred angels.
If we look back at Genesis chapter 3, we see God telling Adam and Eve that there would be enmity or opposition between Satan’s seed ( those in rebellion against God) and the woman’s seed. ( the godly line)
Scripture’s define Satan’s seed as all humans in rebellion to God. We know this because God calls all born again believers, “Abraham’s seed”.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:28,29
“I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”
They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.”
Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. You do the deeds of your father.”
Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father—God.”
Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” John 8:37-45
According to the Biblical pattern it stands to reason that the Sons of God in Genesis 6 refer to the godly seed rather than sex starved fallen angels.
Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?”
He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
The sons of God, or Seth’s descendants (seed) were the chosen line for the Messiah to come.
As we follow Seth’s line in Genesis 5, we find Enoch serving God faithfully all the way up to Noah.
It does not say in Scripture that any of these men fell away from God and became corrupted by angel propagation.
Scripture does say that as humanity grew in number, the godly line mixed with the ungodly line. After these two lines mixed, wickedness grew in the world so much so that God decided to send a flood. God saw the wickedness of man, not hybred angels.
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5
Therefore, we can conclude that God preserved the Messianic line intact through Seth’s line.
In Genesis chapter 7, God calls Noah’s line a righteous generation.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. Genesis 6:8,9
Noah was a descendant of Seth. He did not mix with the ungody line of Cain.
Noah continued to worship God and stayed separate from the ungodliness around him.
Genesis 6 talk about giants in the land in Noah’s days and even afterward.
God calls these giants MEN. He does not call them hybreds, fallen angel seed or monsters. These giants were of the line of Cain.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:4

The flood that occurred after the wickedness grew was a cleansing of the land. The sin of Cain polluted the earth.
And He said, “What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto Me from the ground.
Genesis 4, 8,9
Man’s continual sin made it worse.
And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed. Genesis 5:28,29
According to scripture water is a symbolic spiritual cleansing. Water is also a physical cleansing of the earth.
That he might sanctify and cleanse it ( the church) with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5: 25-27
Today the Sons of God are those born of God, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, washed by the water of the word, sealed by the Spirit of God, and kept by the power of God.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Romans 8:14-16
