The Law of Faith

The Kingdom of God operates through the law of Faith.

To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but BY THE LAW OF FAITH

Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 3:26-28

Obedience to the law does not save anyone because no one can keep the law in its entirety.

The law reveals we are sinners who fall short of God’s glory.

Right standing with God comes by having faith in Jesus Christ apart from the deeds of the law, according to Romans Chapter 3.

Once we have faith in Jesus Christ by putting our trust in him for our salvation, we live in this world by faith  in Jesus Christ.

In other words, once we are born of God, we live a life of faith by putting our trust in Jesus Christ for everything.

There are many books written about faith, so I will not repeat what has already been taught extensively on. You can look on Amazon for those books. You can also read some of my prior blogs on faith.

However, I will share with you something I believe has not been emphasized as much as it should concerning faith.

Saving faith is wonderful. I’m so glad that Jesus saved me. But Jesus saved me to have fellowship with him.

You might ask yourself what this fellowship entails because “I know Jesus.” James 2:23

Knowing Jesus and knowing Jesus are two different things. Let me explain.

I may know my father. I know him as my provider and protector. I know what he looks like,   what he expects of me, and how he will react if I displease him, but do I really know him?
Do I spend enough time with him to know by intuition what he wants me to do? Do I have his trust so that I can know his heart in matters?
Do I feel his pain for the lost and hurting? Am I so sensitive to his still small voice that I can hear him even during my busy day?

Intimacy with God goes deeper than just having saving faith.

Faith is trusting in God because we know him intimately.
We know his character. We know he loves us. We know Jesus has the best plan for us
We know he has engraved us on the palm of his hand.

God’s love casts out all fear.
Faith in God moves mountains.
Faith in God believes for the impossible.
Faith in God is developed through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Saving faith gives us salvation. It is a gift from God  bestowed on those who turn to Jesus Christ in repentance for salvation.

Faith to live victoriously in this life comes through relationship with Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Many Christians stumble through life because they have not developed a relationship with the Holy Spirit.

That does not mean they are not saved, but what it means is that they have not learned to abide in Christ.

I know this because I was one of those Christians. I was not working for my salvation, nor was I looking to please people. However, I sort of cruised along in life in the driver’s seat.

This was partly due to ignorance but partly due to fear.
Being a logical, rational kind of person I stayed clear of anything I thought was unbiblical and wacky.

This was not altogether wrong because knowing the scriptures keeps one from going off into non biblical error and fanatisim.

I was a “normal” Christian before the Lord got my attention in this matter, (or so I thought) but I lacked real intimacy with God.

I believed in the supernatural, but it had better be spelled out in my doctrinal understanding, or I would reject it.

About me. https://kimbalogh.online/about-me/

God, in his mercy, began to call me to himself. He did this through speaking to me through great sorrow that was allowed to occur in my life. This caused me to begin to seek God for answers.

The Lord also began to speak to me supernaturally through dreams and visions.

You might ask yourself what this close relationship of faith entails because “I know Jesus.” James 2:23

Knowing Jesus and knowing Jesus are two different things. Let me explain.

I may know my father. I know him as my provider and protector. I know what he looks like  what he expects of me, how he will react if I displease him, but do I really know him?

These rehma utterances increased my faith to a great degree. My faith began to grow in leaps and bounds.

Well, that opened a whole new door of experiences in my life.

I soon found out, however that not everyone shares my enthusiasm for faith in God’s word.

No, they do not like it at all.

That’s when the persecution started.

And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. Mark 4:17

Did you know that people and, in particular, Christians don’t like a person of faith flaunting faith in their face?

At first, I was taken aback by this, but then I realized that my faith in God’s word was an affront to some people’s religiosity.

After seeking God about it, he revealed to me that faith works by love.

Without love faith is incomplete.

We can have faith to move a mountain, but if we don’t have love, it doesn’t bring us any profit. Faith without love bears little fruit.

Love must be sincere and without hypocrisy. In other words love must care more about the other person’s welfare than our making a theological point. Romans 12:9

Eating a steak in front of a starving person is kind of rude. It’s the same with operating in faith to a person who is weak in faith. They don’t appreciate it because they are not where we are at, yet. Our faith in the word reveals to them that they are lacking in a relationship with Christ. They become insulted due to having a self righteous spirit.

Scriptures tell us that if we have faith, we should keep it between ourself and God. (Romans 14:22)

In other words, be careful who you minister faith to. Use God’s wisdom.

It is more important to love others to Jesus than it is to flex our faith at them.

In this way, people will be more open to faith by observing your walk of faith in God’s word. Others will watch how you operate in love with your faith and will be more inclined to listen to you.

The more I yielded to the Lord in faith, the less he had to shout to get my attention.

Although I enjoyed (and still do) having supernatural visitations, I felt drawn to the word of God.

It was then that I started seeing the written word as a supernatural source. The more I met Jesus through the word, the more revelation of the word I got. It was and continues to be a wonderful spiritual experience.

So now I want to share with you what God taught me about faith.

Faith is a spiritual law, just like motion is a natural law. God rules in the natural realm by natural laws, and he rules in the spiritual realm by spiritual laws.

For example,

One day, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “I am no respector of persons.”

Suddenly, I knew by revelation that whatever is in the word (all the promises of God) are “yes and amen” to me as much as to anyone else.

A spiritual law has no favorites. God shines his love on the just and the unjust. God moves through the operation of faith for anyone willing to believe him. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from.

Faith in someone comes from knowing them intimately.

Faith is trusting in God because we know him intimately.

We know the Lord’s character. We know he loves us. We know he has the best plan for us

Faith works by God’s agape love.
God’s love for us casts out all fear.
Faith in God can move mountains in our life.
Faith in God believes for the impossible.
Faith in God is developed through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Remember that having a love relationship with Jesus is important in walking by faith. You can have spiritual principles without having a relationship with God.

Faith is a spiritual law that motivates the kingdom of God to operate. Without faith we cannot please God. Hebrews 11:6

Faith in God is knowing His son Jesus Christ.
